RoboDown is a program intended to automate and speed up RapidShare downloads.
This program attempts to automate the task of downloading files from that popular direct download server instead of doing it manually. You just need to enter the download links into a list, and then let the program do the rest.
Unfortunately, RoboDown does not work. During this review I tried to download the same file with and without RoboDown. The program reported lots of problems with the download link, and it hanged several times. The same download link worked flawlessly with other download manager. To make things worse, RoboDown works exclusively with RapidShare servers. The help link that comes with it leads you to a forum that is empty, except for the promise that it would be on line three weeks ago.
In brief, at the time of writing this review this program does not work. Though apparently it did in the past, it was only useful for RS downloads. With other similar programs you receive a warning when the file is not online - RoboDown does not warn you about this. My advice is do not download or use this program, there are lots of more efficient download managers out there, and some of them are also free.
